PCCD Scholarship Grant

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — The Steelton-Highspire School District, partnering with the Neighboring Academy & True Colors was recently awarded a $137,500 grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) to implement a scholarship program championed by the PA Lt. Governor’s office. Eligible students in our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Neighboring Academy cohorts were recognized at our 2024 Thanksgiving Celebration for earning $18,500.00 in scholarships toward post secondary opportunities for their collective achievements through the Neighboring Academy!
