2025 “Future Life Changers” Recognition with UPMC Harrisburg Hospital

DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA - The “Future Life Changers” program partnership between UPMC, Neighboring Academy, and SCPa Works made it possible for 8 high students from Steelton-Highspire High School to experience job shadowing opportunities throughout the downtown Harrisburg hospital. This unique program partnership occurred over 5 weeks where Neighboring Academy students had immersive experiences in different aspects of health care from physical therapy, to emergency medicine, to even learning how individuals & families are supported at the beginning and end of patients lives.
